Trial averages with diet and activity support. Roughly a third of trial participants on the highest doses lost 25% or more. Some lose less than the average.

How to read these numbers

Each figure is the average percentage of body weight lost in the medicine's largest published trial, with diet and activity support on top. Averages hide a spread: in SURMOUNT-1, around a third of people on the highest Mounjaro dose lost 25% or more, while some lost under 5%.

The projection uses your starting weight, because percentages translate differently at 80 kg and 140 kg.

How long it takes

Trial losses accumulated over 56 to 72 weeks. A realistic pace is 0.5 to 1 kg a week once you are past the starter doses, slowing as you approach your goal. Faster is not better: rapid loss costs more muscle and more skin laxity.

The number that matters more

Reaching a number is the easy part, keeping it is the work. That is why every Able Clinic plan includes a maintenance phase designed with your prescriber from the start.
