Editorial policy

Health information deserves the same rigour as prescriptions. These are the rules every page on this site is written under.

Sourcing rules

Clinical claims trace to primary sources: each medicine's UK licence (via the electronic medicines compendium), NICE guidance, published trials in peer-reviewed journals, and NHS or MHRA publications. Marketing claims about our own service are kept plainly separate from clinical claims.

The review process

Every clinical page is drafted by the editorial team, checked against the relevant UK licences, and reviewed by the pharmacy team before publication. Reviewers are named at the foot of each page alongside the review date. Pages are re-reviewed at least every 12 months, and immediately when licences, prices or guidance change.

Dates and freshness

Each page carries its last-updated date, and prices carry the date they were checked. If you are reading something important, a dose rule, an interaction, the date tells you how current it is.

Corrections

Errors are corrected promptly and noted on the page. If you spot something wrong, tell us via the help page, corrections from readers are credited in our review log.

What our content is not

Site content is general information, not personal medical advice. Your prescriber's guidance, based on your actual history, always takes precedence over anything written here.
